This Cub Cadet garden tractor is a pleasure to use with its foot operated hydro drive.

 

This is an ideal machine for the larger areas of grass and lawns with a massive 48 inch swaythe but also still great for the tight turns around trees and bushes and with the ease of the foot operated forward and reverse control you can rapidly move in and out and around obstacles.

 

The Cub Cadet CC1024RD-J Garden Tractor is a 122cm/48" cut tractor, with a 24 hp twin cylinder Kawasaki engine. This Kawasaki engine not only has more power, it also has a pumped lubrication system which ensures that the engine is efficiently lubricated even on slopes. This model features a hydrostatic gearbox allowing both the speed control and the forward and reverse all to be operated from one foot pedal. The deck is of a triple bladed design, working together to drive the grass directly into the grass box giving very good collection even in difficult conditions. This is what we refer to as Direct Collect. It also has the patented Fast Attach system, allowing the deck to be removed and replaced within minutes. This is invaluable for maintenance, or if a lot of trailer work is required. Worth noting is the extremely tight turning radius of 53cm/21", which is considerably smaller than most tractors in its class. Also important is the step through chassis design, allowing very safe, easy mounting and dismounting. The grass box holds an impressive 400 litres of grass, which as you can imagine is quite heavy when full. Therefore this model is fitted with an electric tipping system: just press the button and the box empties automatically. In addition to all the above the CC1024RD-J tractor offers several luxury touches, including a deluxe seat, steering wheel, and bumper bar. As with all Cub Cadet Direct Collect tractors, OCR is fitted to allow safe cutting in reverse. The Cub Cadet CC1024RD-J is a Direct Collect model for gardeners with a garden size of two acres and above, but requiring the performance and refinement that these top of the range tractors offer as standard
